Egg Noodles with Heirloom Cherry Tomatoes

Tomato season is one of my absolute favorite times of the year. Fresh off the vine… the limitless varieties and vibrant colors fill the stands at the farmers' market, promising a future filled with Caprese salads. These heirloom cherry tomatoes are so perfect that I could even eat them like grapes, raw and unadorned. For this tomato-centric meal, I made fresh egg noodles, letting the heat from the noodles barely wilt the tomatoes. Lots of grated Grana Padano finish off the pasta. I love tomato season!

I’m a lover of cherry tomatoes too.  I usually just eat um raw with my salad or toss them in some balsamic vinegar and olvie oil then throw them on the grill.  Yumm.
