There must have been something lost in translation. Whenever at an Asian market, I always try to buy something that I've never cooked/eaten before. Well the sign said, "Asparagus Leaf". Weirdly enough, Google results have come up empty. Does anybody recognize this plant?
Oh, I think they call this a variety of Chinese Asparagus! The farmers market over in Irvine has an amazing gathering of Asian farmers with some really fabulous Asian greens. We bought something very similar to this and they’re are a few varieties that look like it. You should go to that market on Saturdays (UCI parking lot) and double check!

It doesn’t look like the Asparagus that I usually eat, but maybe it’s a different kind of Asparagus.
