Tomatillo Poblano Salsa Verde

Tart roasted baby tomatillos blended with smoky, sweet poblano (pasilla) peppers. A dash of Lawry's seasoning salt at the end is the secret ingredient (shh)!

I love mine as a chip accompaniment, mixed in with some carnitas or spooned on top of some fish tacos…

What about you?

**sorry for the lack of posting, ladies & gents! Just back from Dallas for some worky-work**

Never had a tomatillo, but I do find that I often like fish tacos quite a bit!

    [this is good]

    Fact: I love fish tacos

Fact: I had never made anything with tomatillos before bc I had no idea what to do with them and was afraid.

Fact: This blog has now changed my LYFE…or my dinner plans…whatever.

[this is good] What gorgeous pictures!!

Shameful confession- I make sandwiches with bread, salsa verde and cream cheese, with a few chips crumbled in between.

Do you ever make your own tortillas?

I’ve tried, but they always come out hard…don’t know what I am doing wrong.
